Mother's Kitchen.

Hi everyone,

With Mother's day soon approaching I made this Kitchen card as I knew my mom was a very very good cook In fact she would even conduct cooking classes for ladies. I also got this adorable Tilda rolling the dough and all the more couldn't resist making this. So with that in mind I created this kitchen scene. Its a box card. I tried to make it as real as I possibly could. So please let me know should you have any suggestions or advice on improving my creation. Hope you like it.

This is a combined view of the card. I find it easier to link with this image. The first picture is the top of the card. The second picture is the inside of the card.

Here it is the top of the card.

Here is the inside of the card with the light on.

Here is another view of the kitchen with the light off.

Mother's Day Special

Hi all,

I am back again with another project I created. This time its a special one as I thought of my mother while I made this. I lost my Mother to cancer when I was only 7 years old. Every Mother's day I imagine what it would be like to have her around and to honor and share this special day with her the way my kids do for me. I am blessed to have had an elder sister that took care of me in my growing up years but till today I wonder if my life would have been any different having my mom around. All I know is that she would have been proud of me like every mother is of her child.

I saw a challenge online and thought I would try and give it a go. I assembled a wooden bag, added papers, ribbons, lovely doohickeys and flower and this is what it turned out to be. It can be used to hold anything but mostly I think it will hold fond memories for me.

This is the first view :

This is the back view :

Altered Advertisement Magnet

Hi all,

I want to share this card with you. I got a advertisement magnet in a house shape from a friend of mine from Singapore her name is Yenni Natalia. She got this there in Singapore as they were used to advertise to call some places such as restaurants and such. At first when I saw what she had created I really liked it and told her that I wished I could get one and do something with it. So sweet of her to tell me that she will send me. I was quite happy to hear that. So in this project we not only created something new but we also recycled something that most people would just throw :) and now this altered magnet is stuck on to my fridge where me and my kids smile seeing this everyday !

Here is what I made :-

Materials

Advertisement magnet
Beige cardstock
Thinking of you quote
Image - Magnolia stamp
Die - Doo hickey Fence, Memory box - wildflowers
Fiskars - grass punch.
Others : Rhinestone, sticker, lace, flower soft

You definitely make my world go round !!

I totally adore Lawn Fawn stamps. They are cute and with the many ideas along with the video tutorials you can create so much more. This card of mine is quite simple just as I am I guess. Since I am more of a casual person I guess the way I create my cards are of the same element that is Clean and simple CAS.

I use their admit one stamp collection to make this card and instead of using both sides card stock I made the front cover with acetate and back using white card stock.  Just couldn't resist making this bookmark too

So here it is :-

Another view of the card.

Materials :-

White cardstock
acetate

My Cute Easter basket.

Hi all,

Hope all doing great. I have made a few creations but first up is the Easter Basket I made. I used Tilda as usual my favorite :)) a few of them actually and each side of the basket has something or the other. This is the first view of it .....

I colored her using distress markers milled lavender and shabby shutters. Added a flower gem onto her hair since its a special occasion :) added a chick as well. Then a die cut on top of the fence with flower soft and glitter.

Next is the second view of the basket

I stamped the sign and colored with copic. Added a sign of "Happy Easter" and a Bunny peg which I though went with the scene. I added labybugs and flower embellishments to it too.

Next is the third view of the basket

For this side I colored the Tilda Image using weathered wood and scattered straw distress markers. Added twine ribbon for her lovely hair as well as watering can charm to give it a real look.....

closer look at cutie Tilda :

Last view of the basket from the side

For this final side I made it simple just by adding a snail pop up sticker and flower embellishments.

This is the view of the carrot box with ribbon as stem and carrot peg as well :)

Sorry the picture is quite bright :(

And last but not the least this is the top view of the basket.

This is one of the longest post I have ever written with so many pictures. I just wanted to share with you all each side of the basket as each of them is special.
